Forklift Operator

Americold is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight in an effective and safe way, using the best equipment to travel with product to storage throughout the facility. 
• Stack and store items properly, pick and build orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage and/or insect infestation, label, sort, wrap, pack and repack as directed by management. 
• Operate equipment (sit down and stand-up propane forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk behinds, single/double pallet jacks, RF scanners) safely and in accordance to OSHA standards. 
• Must be able to meet productivity standards while maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. 
• Other duties such as inventory, cleaning or forklift battery change out will be required and will other duties outside of normal routine as needed.
