John Deere Ag Service Technician

TRULAND Equipment is actively seeking a skilled and experienced John Deere Ag Service Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals.  The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Duties:

• Diagnoses and repairs John Deere farm equipment and technology. May diagnose and repair competitive equipment.
• Diagnoses and repairs are mainly done in the shop but are performed in the field if required.
• Operates and maintains all machinery, vehicles, tools and equipment as needed to fulfill the job responsibilities.
• Participation in John Deere University training and dealer-directed training to further develop skills and knowledge.
• Continues to expand knowledge of all John Deere product as well as competitive products.
• Meets all John Deere's qualification as an Advanced Service Technician.
• Mentors Service Technician Apprentices and Students upon request.
• May conduct or support clinics with customers.
• Maintains vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment in acceptable condition.
• Maintains a clean and tidy workspace, and conducts work in a clean and tidy manner.
