Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test items according to the instructions of Shop Leads or the Operations Manager
  • Make sure you keep your work area clean and safe. workplace
  • Perform various assembly and testing procedures to put together highly intricate or expensive and large precision equipment, machines, and equipment that have crucial tolerances and strict testing and inspection specifications.
  • Help in the preparation of assembly and testing procedures,s as well as instruct and verify the work of Assemblers in lower class and General Laborers.
  • Fully skilled in fitting, alignment, adjusting, and machining the secondary part of the product.
  • Conduct testing of complex procedures for assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Make use of complicated assembly sketches and specifications.
  • Make use of a range of high-quality measuring instruments as well as gauges.
  • All assemblies that are completed are subject to testing and inspection.
  • Perform minor preventative maintenance and cleaning duties for the areas and equipment within the designated work centers.
  • Set up and operate on your own without assistance, test stands for the entire range of grade products
  • Create quality assemblies and gain an understanding of the potential issues or problems, and then take corrective action if needed.
  • Completely comprehend and understand how subassemblies are assembled and the final assembly, and the testing to ensure that the engineering performance specifications are met across all areas.
  • Keep or exceed the recommended rate of production.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record, maintain a satisfactory overall record of work, and buy the necessary tools to classify.
  • Training is complete for all production areas.
  • Complete all paperwork and records on time.
  • Support accurate inventory.
  • Keep in contact with the next shift.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions per established processes.
  • Keep the area of work along with the equipment tidy and tidy condition, and adhere to the safety rules.
  • Performs the prescribed preventative maintenance on the machines in accordance with P.M. Charts.
  • Perform tasks according to manufacturing schedules, with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the Supervisor or Management.
