Plant Operator- Excavator

Chandler Macleod is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Operator- Excavator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about operating a wide range of heavy-duty equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Key Objectives:

• Operate and maintain excavators or backhoes with specialist skills to support the completion of engineering and civil works projects as directed.
• Carry out a variety of advanced plant operations safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental, safety, risk, and quality standards to meet project goals.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance plant operation expertise within the engineering works unit.
• Undertake general labouring duties including pothole repairs, road edge and shoulder maintenance, pipe and culvert installation, drainage works, sign installation, and traffic control tasks.
