Design Engineer

Terex Corporation is actively seeking a skilled and experienced design engineer to join its dynamic team. Responsibilities: 

• Perform design and engineering analysis of steel and aluminum components, welded structures, and mechanical systems, with consideration for strength, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring designs meet engineering and production requirements.
• Develop and execute product verification and validation test plans to evaluate design performance, functionality, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues during design, testing, and production, and implement practical solutions to minimize downtime and improve product performance.
• Provide engineering support to the production team by resolving manufacturing issues, improving processes, and ensuring smooth production of components and assemblies.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through design optimization, material selection, component standardization, and improvements in manufacturing methods while maintaining product quality and performance.
• Provide technical support for field issues and customer concerns, investigate root causes, and work with relevant teams to implement effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, electrical, hydraulic, quality, and service teams, to ensure successful product development and continuous improvement.
