Development Test Technician

SpaceX is actively seeking a skilled and experienced  Development Test Technician to join their dynamic team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare systems, test articles, and test stands for testing operations
• Ensure safe and timely test stand-related activities and the quality of all performed service work on equipment, systems, and test stand infrastructure
• Complete post-test activities, including performing inspections to verify that test hardware is flight-ready
  Provide basic and advanced equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair as required and as directed
• Fabricate, repair, or assemble all hardware/equipment required for testing operations
• Assist engineers in determining, developing, and documenting activities related to their engineering tasks
• Ensure that all testing operations are conducted using clean, appropriate materials in accordance with applicable standards
• Operate and maintain testing operations hardware, high-pressure pumps and systems, and all other operationally related equipment, including pneumatic equipment
• Obtain and keep current all necessary training or licenses to operate/perform testing operations in accordance with company policy
• Maintain a sufficient inventory of cryogenic and pneumatic supplies, and will procure the necessary inventory of parts and related supplies required to replace failed items during functions
• Process maintenance requests and related items through the work order and maintenance ticket system
• Perform all other test-related duties and functions that support Acceptance and Development Testing, as well as ensure all facets of Test Operation will be supported through the entire facility/Region
• Develop improved processes that support and improve the reliability of all test operations at each facility within the Region
