Field Service Technician

AMETEK, Inc is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join its dynamic team. Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing ultra-precision machines both on-site and at Precitech's facility. 
• Oversee and execute machine installations and provide comprehensive training to customers.
• Manage and perform formal customer acceptance processes for Precitech's equipment. 
• Handle complete machine setups and perform standard part cutting for the Electro-Optic product line. 
• Implement upgrades and retrofits to replace obsolete machine components. 
• Provide remote support to customers via phone and email. 
• Prepare detailed quotations for paid services and spare parts. 
• Ensure the Field Service area remains clean and well-organized. 
• Update and maintain the customer database with accurate, up-to-date information. 
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
