Maintenance technician

Responsibilities:

• Help all departments by ensuring the tools and equipment needed to fulfill shipping and production needs in a cost-effective and high-quality manner.
• Keep the building and facility in good condition to ensure secure and hygienic working conditions
• Implement and encourage continuous improvement to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop and maintain a written preventive maintenance program for the entire facility in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements and safety inspections of equipment when needed.
• Work with supervisors to determine the most important needs.
• Stress the importance of and create a healthy, safe working environment to ensure compliance with federal and corporate security and environmental policies.
• Keep track of and order the necessary supplies.
• Help in the development and testing of fixings/tools.
• Production support in the aid of special requests.
