Electrical maintenance technician

GFG Alliance is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical maintenance technician to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshot, diagnosed, and fixed mechanical and electrical faults throughout heavy industrial plants
• Perform equipment audits, machine installations, along with preventative maintenance and installation tasks.
• Maintain and program drives as well as scanners, along with electronic control systems
• troubleshooting PLC systems and assisting with programming (training is provided when required)
• Find operational improvements by analyzing the root causes and ongoing improvement initiatives
• Improve the overall reliability of the plant through proactive maintenance
• Assist with mechanical tasks when needed (belt tracking as well as lubrication, bearings, motors, chains, and gearboxes)
• Make sure that all work is completed in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner with Infrabuild standards.
