Maintenance Technician

EssilorLuxottica is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance (PM) inspections and repairs to equipment and machinery according to the established schedules.
• Document maintenance activities accurately and activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) like SAP.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in equipment, as well as identify the root cause before finding solutions.
• Send maintenance tasks to team members as well as production personnel to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
• Work with vendors and equipment manufacturers for technical support and part procurement.
• Assess the effectiveness of preventative Maintenance (PM) actions and suggest adjustments to optimize schedules and improve the reliability of equipment.
• Review the data on equipment failures to determine trends and take preventive actions.
• Install, take down, and transfer equipment, making sure of safety in lifting and rigging.
• Adjust and calibrate machines to ensure that it meets the specifications.
• Inform other employees regarding PM processes, troubleshooting strategies, and safety equipment.
• Keep your work area clean and tidy. workplace and abide by all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts and ensure a positive working environment.
• Other related tasks will be assigned.
