Engineer, Hydraulics

More tasks and responsibilities

• Carry out hydraulic calculations, system analysis, and technical evaluations to identify potential issues and improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Support the sales and proposals team by reviewing customer specifications, identifying technical requirements and deviations, and preparing accurate technical inputs for tender packages.
• Ensure hydraulic designs comply with applicable engineering standards, project requirements, budget limitations, delivery schedules, and relevant classification society rules and regulations.
• Participate in technical risk assessments, root-cause investigations, FMEA/FMECA studies, and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve design and operational issues.
• Work closely with engineers, technical advisors, product owners, and discipline managers to provide hydraulic expertise and technical input throughout the design, development, and support phases of projects.
