Mechanical Services Design Engineer

PM GROUP is actively seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical services design engineer to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities: 

• Complete HVAC and mechanical service design development using conceptual diagrams and specific stages to ensure success of the project
• Design briefs and engineering calculations and specifications, as well as drawings and technical documents to support the project's requirements.
• Calculate cooling load as well as system sizing along with HVAC simulation to maximize the performance of your system
• Conduct a hydraulic analysis and determine the size of the water and air distribution systems to ensure efficient delivery of mechanical services
• Create HVAC system blueprints and develop solutions throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure that the project meets client and regulatory requirements.
• Design Building Management System (BMS) Architecture Specifications, control strategies, and sequences of operation to integrate building control
• Coordination of mechanical designs with structural and architectural as well as other disciplines of engineering to assure seamless project integration
• Provide technical design reviews that confirm compliance with the client, project, and regulations.
