Field Service Technician

Reesink Canada is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Technical Service & Repair

• Find and fix mechanical and electrical, hydraulic, and electronic problems in conformity with the manufacturer's standards
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections, preventative and even component replacements
• Verify and test the equipment's performance after the service

Field & Shop Support

• Service in-shop and on the field assistance, including peak season and emergency repairs
• Keep your workplace clean, neat, and safe workplace
• Fully accurate work orders that include labour, parts, and service notes

Safety & Compliance

• Make sure you follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations and follow safe work practices
• Recognize and report the hazards, incidents, and near misses. Exercise authority to stop work if needed

Customer & Team Collaboration

• Inform findings and recommendations for service clearly to customers and Service Advisors.
• Collaboration together with Parts and Service teams to ensure that repairs are completed on time and of high-quality.
• Help Apprentices and trainee technicians by providing education and guidance if it is necessary.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in internal and manufacturer training
• Keep up-to-date with technology, equipment, and best practices for service
• Help improve quality and efficiency, as well as process improvement
