Hydraulic Test Technician

AIRLINE is actively seeking a skilled, experienced Hydraulic Test Technician to join its dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the full integration of our engineered solutions independently.
• Perform system tests that are complex using electronic devices, including test equipment, transducers, as well as data logging devices or inspection measuring equipment within an industrial setting.
• Occasionally, an employee is needed to complete assembly duties in a factory environment. The employee utilizes mechanical skills, hand and power tools, and mechanical/electronic tools to complete assembly projects and assignments.
• Set up test equipment to determine and record the system's conformance to the test specifications.
• Test using standard and/or electronic data acquisition equipment and then interpret or record test results on forms, reports, and logs.
• Troubleshoot and fix the malfunctions revealed through the test data alone.
• Review new assembly production and test procedures, and recommend procedures to get the desired results.
• Read blueprints, hydraulic or wiring diagrams, as well as test specifications, service bulletins, and customer specifications.
• Train people who aren't as experienced.
• Support technical issues for others in the same group and with co-workers, as well as complicated testing in various Airline facilities.
• Discuss issues that arise in testing with the project and engineering management, and collaborate with them on an agreement.
• Create procedures and best practices for calibration of equipment in internal settings for all locations.
• Create test procedures for repeat assemblies as needed.
• Other duties related to the job as required.
