Intermediate engineer -Backfill

Hatch is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Intermediate Engineer -Backfill to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities: 

• Two years or more of relevant experience
• Collaborate with project managers to perform various tasks that are associated with backfill projects.
• Assist with the technical design of all kinds of backfill systems: paste hydraulic, and cemented rockfill (CRF).
• Designs of backfilling systems for paste, as well as other related process units, cement storage and logistics pipeline for tailings, the paste plant, boreholes, underground distribution system, booster stations, etc.
• Mix design for backfill and process optimizations, as well as tests.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, and other contractors to finish the project's deliverables.
• The ability to analyze hydraulic fluids is essential. The candidate must demonstrate experience working with hydraulic software and be able to analyse the results.
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to design pipelines, including pipe sizing and valve selection, material selection, and construction expertise.
• Analytical knowledge that is transient is a benefit.
