Quality inspector

Terex Corporation is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Inspector to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Approves products that are finished through Pre-Despatch Inspections.
• Utilize statistical techniques to identify faults and provide solutions to technical problems.
• Assist in ensuring that purchased products meet the quality standards (both internally and from external suppliers).
• In the event of non-conformance, take the initiative to initiate appropriate manufacturing controls in conjunction with supply bases (internal as well as external) and technical staff to find long-term solutions by employing root-cause analysis methods.
• Assist in day-to-day operations to ensure that there is minimal impact on production as a result of quality-related issues. They also create quality trends and suggest actions to assist internal reviews, in accordance with the requirements of TQM (Total Quality Management) standards.
• Offer quality inspection support as needed.
• Auditing (and developing) of suppliers, as and when needed, and support for sample inspection (whether on-site or at the external supplier).
• Assist with NPPD / Development Projects within the factory, from design review right through to building. Participate actively to ensure its success.
• Helping to develop and audit processes and documentation, including the development of a TQM quality management system and reporting
• The job will require some traveling as and when needed.
