Hydraulic Modeller (Flood Risk Management)

The Jacobs are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Modeller (Flood Risk Management) to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Hydraulic modeling using industry-standard programs (Flood Modeller Tuflow, InfoWorks, HEC-RAS) to develop models as well as calibration, interpretation, and interrogation for 1D as well as 1D/2D models.
• Analyzing, managing, and interpreting data with GIS tools (ArcGIS, MapInfo, and QGIS) and analytical tools (R and Python).
• Your own unique concepts, challenging the status quo and assisting us to create better solutions for our customers.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to provide client-focused results.
• Develop, write, and then review complicated technical reports.
• Participate in a team-based support and be active in mentorship and professional development
• Peer review and check of technical deliverables and calculations.
