Mechanical Engineer

Crown Brand Building is actively seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations. 

Responsibilities: 

• Analyze, design, and create mechanical systems as well as components for the production of beverage cans such as decorators, presses, and finishing lines.
• Perform feasibility analyses, stress analyses, and simulations to improve the performance of equipment and to ensure the integrity of the structure.
• Work with teams from across the functional spectrum (production quality, electrical maintenance) to resolve problems, find solutions, and enhance manufacturing processes.
• Create and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and bills of material for new equipment and upgrades.
• Projects from conception through completion, which include planning and scheduling, budgeting, and commissioning new machinery or improvements.
• Perform a root cause analysis for equipment failures, and implement preventive and corrective measures.
• Be sure to ensure compliance with applicable requirements of the industry, such as safety standards and guidelines on environmental issues.
• Join continuous improvement projects by implementing principles of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Offer technical assistance and training for production and maintenance personnel.
• Assess and suggest the latest technologies and materials that will improve the quality of products and increase production effectiveness.
