Maintenance Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance (PM) inspections as well as repairs to machines and equipment in accordance with the established schedules.
• Document maintenance activities accurately and activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) like SAP.
• Troubleshoot and identify equipment malfunctions by identifying the root cause and finding solutions.
• Inform team members and production personnel to ensure smooth handovers of shifts.
• Work with vendors and equipment manufacturers for technical support and part procurement.
• Examine the effectiveness of preventative Maintenance (PM) processes and suggest changes to optimize the schedule and improve the reliability of equipment.
• Examine the failure of equipment data to determine trends and take preventive actions.
• Install, remove, and move equipment while ensuring the safety of lifting and rigging.
• Adjust and calibrate the machinery to ensure that it meets the specifications.
• Inform other employees of the PM procedure, troubleshooting strategies, and the safety of equipment.
• Maintain a neat and clean workspace and follow the safety rules, which include appropriate PPE use.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts and promote a positive workplace.
• Perform other duties related to the job when assigned.
