Service Technician - Agricultural or Heavy Duty

Reesink Canada is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician - Agricultural or Heavy Duty to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Technical Service & Repair

• Find and fix electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic issues as per the specifications of the manufacturer
• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections, including preventative and replacement of components
• Check and confirm the performance of the equipment after the service

Field & Shop Support

• Offer in-shop and field assistance, including peak season and emergency repairs
• Keep your workplace clean, neat, and safe workplace
• Fully accurate work orders that include labour, parts, and service notes

Safety & Compliance

• Be sure to follow all safety, health, and environmental regulations and follow safe work practices
• Recognize and report the hazards, incidents, and near misses. Exercise stop-work authority if needed

Customer & Team Collaboration

• Inform findings and recommendations for service clearly to Service Advisors and customers.
• Collaboration together with Parts and Service teams to ensure that repairs are completed on time and of high-quality.
• Assist trainee technicians and apprentices by providing education and guidance, depending on the situation.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in internal and manufacturer training
• Keep up-to-date with technology, equipment, and best practices for service
• Help improve quality, efficiency, process improvement
