Jacobs is actively seeking two skilled and experienced wastewater modellers—Dublin and Cork—to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Help support technical delivery and assist the project manager in ensuring the delivery of solidly defined technical solutions.
  • Experiential experience in hydraulic modeling for networks (InfoWorks ICM).
  • As in a group for various projects, including modeling and verification, making use of existing models to analyze the performance of systems.
  • Development of options and solutions for floods along with CSO drivers.
  • Directly interact with different personnel within the organizations of our clients and have face-to-face progress meetings.
  • Examine, analyze, and solve drainage network issues.
  • Scope network surveys are used to complement models with updates.
  • Review and oversee the submissions of weekly surveys to contractors.
  • Maintain and build models for hydraulics.
  • Provide technical reports and hydraulic modeling studies.
  • Design and implement modelled engineering solutions to minimize the effects of development, address flooding in sewers, and solve insufficient overflows.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for modeling.
  • Supervise the field surveys and site surveys.
