Crane Operator

LPR Construction is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join their dynamic team. Required Skills

• Take precautions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
• Manipulate levers and pedals to control attachments such as boom, loads, man-baskets, and ball.
• Align machines, loads, or overhead gauge markers with reference stakes and guidelines or on the ground, or maneuver equipment in accordance with hand signals from other workers. Know load charts, and wind charts as applicable to safe operating procedures.
• Manage machine actions in accordance with other activities, maneuvering or positioning loads to hand signals or audio signals from crew members.
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed, take emergency adjustment actions or help as necessary with major repairs.
• Discuss work requirements with foremen and supervisors and review manuals, instructions, plans, and diagrams as necessary.
• Keep records of materials and equipment used and problems encountered. Responsible for the monthly maintenance logs which must be turned into Equipment Mgr. in a timely manner.
