Press Brake Operator-2nd or 3rd Shift

Schindler Group is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join their dynamic team. Your primary duties

• Utilize manufacturing information, drawings, sketches, intranet, SAP, and written and/or verbal instructions to accomplish your work.
• Utilize CNC turret and hydraulic press brake machines in automatic, semi-automatic, or manual operation to manufacture parts, as well as read on-screen work piece and turret positioning.
• Check pattern sequence and perform any necessary mathematical calculations in order to make machine adjustments to meet product specifications.  As applicable, manually dial in program to machine or dial in using the readout of the program sheets. 
• Perform punching, piercing, embossing, blanking, notching, slotting, and forming of multiple metal parts, and check the quality of all manufactured parts against blueprints.
• Set-up and operate a press brake to perform non-repetitive complex bending and forming of the material and parts. Design, create, and initiate the light curtain program as well as create programs for the new parts. Lay out work as necessary. 
• Set-up and test all turret components punch, dies, and holders according to the layout sheet or other instructions, and test for proper alignment by cycling the press manually. Set-up press brakes, bending, and hemming according to written instructions. 
• Set work holders at table locations as per written instructions or in positions clear defer holes in piece parts.
