Forklift Operator

Radius Recycling seeks a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing a wide range of lifting equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to their operations' safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Essential Functions

• Environmental and Health & Safety (H&S)
• Strictly complies with all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Ensures a safe working environment for all employees, customers, and visitors.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures, including compliance with the wearing of all PPE.
• Attends in-house certification program and retraining sessions at intervals as required.
• Operational Performance & Best Business Practices
  Aiding with cleaning and related tasks to ensure plant operations.
• Operating a skid steer and or forklift in the transportation of bins and equipment.
• Helping with yard/facility cleaning and upkeep.                
•  Equipment & Maintenance
• Fill out paperwork related to the forklift and/or skid steer or lifting attachments and inform the appropriate supervisor of any equipment deficiencies or breakdowns.
• Sort scrap, metal, and debris for processing on a basic level.
• Special Projects
• Executes special projects or other tasks as required or assigned.
