Part-Time Dock Worker / Forklift Operator

Dayton Freight seeks a skilled and experienced Part-Time Dock Worker / Forklift Operator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to their operations' safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

In your role as a Dock Worker, you will load and unload freight in an efficient, safe, and claims-free fashion. While DFL Dock Workers don't work in a warehouse, you will need to make maximum use of space in loading freight.

• Performpre-e anpost-tripip inspections on all dock equipment
• Accurately document all freight control procedures
• Attend Dayton Freight's training and development programs
• Be available for unscheduled work schedules, alternating shifts, and/or assignments
• Comply with the procedures of operation and rules in the Dayton Freight Driver/Dockworker Manual
