Forklift Operator/ Loader I

Super-Sod is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator/ Loader I to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and operating a wide range of lifting equipment, like forklifts used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to their operations' safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Essential Functions

1. Hand loading and unloading product from loading zones and/or forklift.
2. Driving heavy equipment is utilized to load, unload, and transport agricultural products and other equipment.
3. Loading the customer's items.
4. Help unload shipping and receiving trucks, check in merchandise, verify purchase orders to sales orders, and sort to sales associates for processing.
5. Read shipping orders, customer orders, work orders, or requisitions to identify items to be transported, accumulated, or distributed and/or shipped.
6. Transfer materials and products from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other areas.
7. Rotate, sort, and position inventory and products on racks, shelves, or in bins by predetermined sequence such as size, style, type, color or product code.
