Hydraulic Components Design Engineer

PRINCIPLES DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Notices in accordance with company procedures and document standards.
• Develop new hydraulic components and systems or improve existing designs using core engineering concepts for industrial power tools and equipment.
• Lead design projects, from conception to production. Deliver high-quality engineering deliverables on time.
• Lead design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA and root cause analysis of field issues.
• SolidWorks allows you to create and edit 2D drawings as well as 3D models.
• All designs must meet functional, performance, safety, and reliability standards.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation including hydraulic schematics and Bills of Materials.
• SolidWorks PDM allows you to maintain accurate design records, and version control.
• Work cross-functionally to meet deadlines and project goals with the project management, manufacturing and procurement teams.
