RFA Engineering is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Systems Modeling Engineer to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities: 

  • Create Dynamic models of hydraulic components and systems to aid in system design, as well as performance evaluation and troubleshooting
  • Make use of the tools of modeling and simulation for analyzing the system's behavior under different operating conditions
  • Work with mechanical, control,s and testing engineers in order to match models to the physical system's performance
  • Design trade studies that support design as well as requirement development and concept evaluations by using simulation results
  • Compare simulation results with tests and models that have been updated to increase precision and predictability
  • Record the assumptions and methods used in modeling and the results in a concise and clear way
  • Help to continuously improve modeling tools, models, and best practices
  • Know the dynamic interactions of hydraulic systems, linkages, rigid bodies, motors, drivetrains, as well as control and monitoring systems.
  • Aid in the development of solid control strategies to ensure product development and differentiation.
