Yates is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Hydraulic Cylinder Assembler to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.
Duties:
•Ensures that cylinders are assembled correctly according to drawings, blueprints, and test instructions on work orders
•Utilizes hand tools, overhead cranes, pneumatic assembly tools, and torque wrenches to assemble cylinders
•Assembles, tests, and tags all cylinders.
•Operation of 5000 psi test stand.
•Knows small and very large hydraulic cylinders and sealing systems
•Clean and keep the work area tidy daily
•Observe safety at all times
•Any other shop-related tasks as needed.
