Mechanical Assembler

Sewer is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Assembler to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic circuitry, and other items as directed.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar instructions, and constructs according to those specifications.
• Operates a variety of machines and hand tools to perform assigned tasks.
• Keeps logs, records, and reports regarding production, machine maintenance, and product discrepancies.
• Counts tools, parts, and supplies; calls the materials handler if supplies are required.
• Regularly inspects products according to company policy to maintain quality and consistent completion; corrects identified issues and notifies the supervisor.
• Maintains a clear, safe working environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Performs other duties assigned.
