EssilorLuxottica is seeking a skilled, experienced Maintenance Manager to join its dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and supervise all maintenance activities related to automated manufacturing equipment, facility equipment, and industrial processes that are required to manufacture lenses.
  • Design and implement a complete proactive and predictive maintenance program that is aligned with standardized maintenance schedules and benchmarks for the performance of equipment.
  • Create and manage an equipment as well as spare parts program that includes cost tracking, inventory control, and procurement plan.
  • Make sure that all machinery is operating within the defined operational and mechanical parameters. Identify and correct any issues to minimize interruptions.
  • Utilize CMMS instruments (e.g., SAP, ELMA, Oracle) to plan, schedule, and record maintenance tasks, evaluate equipment performance, and aid in making data-driven decisions.
  • Supervise and build a high-performing maintenance team, offering technical training, coaching, and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain a smooth and effective communication between internal stakeholders as well as external contractors to ensure high-quality support services.
  • Keep in full compliance with EssilorLuxottica's safety and quality requirements and local provincial, federal, and other regulations.
  • Responsible for the development and control of the budget for maintenance, including planning capital investment.
  • Collaboration with the Purchasing team to negotiate contracts with suppliers and oversee the performance of vendors.
  • Always identify and implement technological enhancements to equipment and infrastructure that improve safety, reliability, and effectiveness.
  • Review and verify the maintenance requirements, agreements for service, and subcontracting agreements.
