Mech Serv Mechanic

Andritz seeks a skilled and experienced Mech Serv Mechanic to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to their operations' safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Resposibilities

• Visual inspection of roll components and parts to verify the quality of used components. 
• Accurately documenting repair requirements, as outlined in company repair manuals and instructions. Proficient in safely moving rolls and components with overhead cranes and forklifts. 
• Capacities up to 60 tons. Show knowledge and skills using: basic hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, torch cutting, basic layout, blueprint reading, and precision measurement. 
• Preferred candidate will possess knowledge of bearings, chains, sprockets, and troubleshooting methods. 
• Successful applicants should be capable of performing basic computer /data entry skills. 
• Perform repetitive and physically demanding activities for long periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping). 
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, eearplugs steel-toe boots, etc.).
•  Adhere strictly to safety rules and regulations.
•  Comply with all plant environmental and safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
