Technician

BHBW is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Key Performance Areas

• Execute Preventative Maintenance: Implement and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Drive Customer Service Opportunities: Identify and proactively pursue opportunities for additional customer work.
• Perform Advanced Fault Diagnosis: Efficiently troubleshoot and diagnose complex machine faults.
• Ensure Quality Assembly: Assemble IC and Electric machines in strict accordance with BHBW and Hyster standards.
• Install Telematics Systems: Accurately fit Telematics black boxes onto machines.
• Support Logistics Operations: Assist with the loading and unloading of containers.
• Participate in Inventory Management: Conduct new machine stock takes as required.
• Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections: Execute and sign off the PDI process for new machines.
• Manage Warranty Processes: Comprehend and apply supplier warranty systems, policies, and procedures.
• Provide On-Site & Workshop Support: Rapidly and effectively diagnose systems, perform repairs, services, and maintenance on forklifts at both customer locations and BHBW sites.
• Mentor and Develop Apprentices: Provide guidance and training to assigned apprentices.
