Assistant Mechanical Engineer-Submarine

ST Engineering is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Mechanical Engineer-Submarine to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities: 

• Perform daily hands-on maintenance tasks and inspections to ensure all work assigned by engineers and supervisors is completed in accordance with required service, quality, and safety standards, including SUBSAFE procedures and requirements.
• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical and marine diesel system defects through equipment removal, servicing, installation, and system tightness testing.
• Conduct joint inspections and acceptance activities with ship representatives and coordinate with ship crews to carry out functional testing of ship systems.
• Perform replenishment of submarine supplies, including gases, fuel oil, lubricating oil, and hydraulic oil.
• Coach, supervise, and guide junior technicians in carrying out planned and corrective maintenance activities onboard submarines.
• Provide logistical support, including lifting and handling of equipment and components, as well as maintaining workshop tools and equipment.
