Mechanical / Structural Engineer

ASC Pty Ltd. is actively seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical / structural engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct calculations, structural analysis, and modeling using standard tools and processes for engineering.
• Create engineering documentation, including specifications, tests, reports, and technical documents.
• Apply and interpret design requirements to assist in maintenance and design tasks.
• Conduct and assist in analysis of the root cause and work.
• Participate in peer reviews of engineering outputs in order to ensure the quality and conformity.
• Prioritize work assignments and plan them to ensure that they are completed in accordance with schedule, cost, and quality targets.
• Help support multidisciplinary teams that include production, engineering, and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to risk and opportunity management within the job area.
• Assist in small, one-discipline projects when needed, with guidance by engineers in charge.
