DREDGE MECHANIC

NMDC Group is actively seeking a skilled and experienced DREDGE MECHANIC to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:

• Control, operate, and maintain the main engine, other engines, compressors, pumps, as well as the hydraulic systems of SPCSD.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance plans and breakdown repairs according to the PMS and Chief Engineer's guidelines.
• Assist in the operation as well as maintenance for the dredge pump, the cutter's drive system, gearboxes, and other equipment.
• Monitor the parameters of machinery as well as alarms and log readings while sailing and dredging operations.
• Perform overhauls of valves, engines, filters, pumps, and mechanical parts as needed.
• Make sure that proper cooling, lubrication, and fuel systems are operating throughout the day.
• Clean and maintain the cleanliness of the engine room and other machinery areas.
• Use safety procedures, permit-to-work procedures, and the company's HSE guidelines.
• Assist in bunkering, engine tests, and other emergencies.
• Notify defects, irregularities, and other requirements promptly to the Engineer Officer.
