Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

John Deere United is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Accountabilities

• Conduct diagnostics and repairs of all John Deere equipment and technology
• Conduct diagnostics and repairs in the field, as needed
• Maintain an appropriate inventory of parts stocked on the service vehicle
• Evaluate and mentor Service Technicians and Apprentice Technicians
• Identify, develop, and communicate solutions for customer service situations within the area of responsibility
• Responsible for billable time and assigned work orders
  Responsible for complete and accurate documentation of diagnostics/repairs on work orders, and on-time submission of information.
• Able to participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs mandated to cultivate skills and knowledge
