Heavy Equipment Field Technician

EquipmentShare is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Responsibilities:

• Follow and promote safe work practices while performing equipment repairs
• Comfortably use technology such as laptops and tablets for diagnostics and documentation
• Independently perform maintenance and repairs on a wide range of rental and customer equipment, including complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
• Provide guidance and support in training entry-level technicians as required
• Accurately complete work orders and maintain daily records of services performed, both in paper and electronic formats
• Assist with the pickup and delivery of parts and equipment as needed
• Have knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards (preferred)
