Heavy Equipment Operator

Vestas is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals.  The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operates heavy equipment including but not limited to all Class 1-7 equipment, 40+ Ton Mobile Gantry Crane, 50+ Ton Reach Stacker/Container Handler, 20+ Ton Forklift, single/dual axle remote steer Dolly, tractor with 3 point, PTO, Front end Loader, Grader, Compaction Roller, Skid Steer, 12k+ Telescopic Forklift; 
• Operates all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures; performs standard and non-standard lifts on objects weighting up to 9 tons and length of up to 200' in all types of lighting and weather conditions. 
  Performs daily safety inspection on equipment and rigging and maintains inspection record;   
• Moves blades to and from production areas as required; physically prepares blades for shipping, this includes all documentation, proposed shipping and load blades on train and truck for shipment, safely with out causing damage to equipment or product. Directs blade transporters on correct blade transport interface configurations/procedures.  
  Clears and removes snow from hallway, receiving/shipping yard;
