Heavy Equipment/ Hydraulic Mechanic

Pinellas County Government is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment/ Hydraulic Mechanic to join their dynamic team. What You Will Be Responsible For:

• Diagnose and repair engines, fuel systems, drivetrains, steering, brake, and suspension systems on a wide range of heavy equipment, including zero-turn mowers, forklifts, man lifts, tractors, boom mowers, and various construction and earth-moving machinery such as Gradalls and excavators.
• Troubleshoot and service hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and components across multiple types of machinery.
• Utilize precision diagnostic tools and measurement devices to accurately identify and address faults in systems and equipment.
• Inspect, service, and repair air conditioning systems in heavy machinery.
• Perform advanced diagnostics using electronic and engine analysis tools, including the programming of electronic control components.
• Carry out related duties and additional tasks as assigned to support operational needs.
