Heavy Equipment Operator

CRH company is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all manufacturer guidelines and operating within the equipment's intended design parameters.
• Ensure proper excavation practices, including maintaining safe slope angles and installing appropriate barricading for work zones.
• Identify and mark underground utilities and buried lines before excavation activities.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs; report major issues to supervisors as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of machines at all times.
• Understand and follow trenching and shoring safety standards.
• Accurately track time, material usage, and job progress.
• Possess working knowledge of aggregate types, sizes, and classifications.
• Comply with legal weight limits for transporting materials from pits or job sites.
• Travel between various job sites as required.
• Support labor crews with tasks such as shoveling, raking, and compacting asphalt materials.
• Collaborate with other team members across multiple production areas as needed.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential job site hazards or obstructions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to meet operational and business requirements.
• Maintain regular, timely attendance and contribute to a productive work environment.
• Actively support and participate in fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace culture.
