Hydraulic Inspector and Fitter

Safran is actively seeking a skilled and experienced  Hydraulic Inspector and Fitter to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy-duty equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Resposibilties
• The manufacturing plan will require different work scopes to involve test & repair, repair, or overhaul
• Hydraulic units are tested on a rig to determine serviceability
• Serviceable units are checked to be released back into service
• Failed test units need disassembling and following inspection to return the unit to itoserviceability
• Parts are classified as serviceable, scrap, or for repair
• Carrying out limited rework, like hand salvage, mixing up deteriorated material, and polishing can be necessary, along with evaluating parts/components for repair
