Mechanical Fitter

Doyle Shipping Group is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

The role

The Mechanical Fitter will be part of our maintenance team at Dublin Port, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing equipment used by Doyle Shipping Group.

On a day-to-day basis, the role involves working with a range of machinery including Tugmasters, RTGs, LHM cranes, forklifts, and other heavy plant. The Mechanical Fitter will troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, while also carrying out proactive servicing to ensure equipment reliability and performance in various operational conditions.
