About the role:
In the role of Plant Fitter operator, you will join the Ballast Cleaner group based in Palmerston North as your local depot relieving on other Track Machines as required operating specialised machinery that supports the maintenance of our rail network. You will assist in the safe and efficient use of Track Machines and undertake serving maintenance, and repairs. This role will also involve ongoing travel on the network, operating in all conditions and ensuring quality, safety, and performance standards are always maintained. You will be part of a team that values reliability, communication, and completing the job right the first time.
