Maintenance Fitter

Dawn Meats is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Fitter  to join their dynamic team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities / Objectives:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on various beef processing equipment including but not limited to conveyors, motor/gearbox and packaging equipment. 
• Diagnosing mechanical problems, troubleshooting faults and providing solutions to reduce downtime.
• Work with maintenance team to plan preventative maintenance schedules on machines ensuring the machines remain operation and in compliance. 
• Change replace and repair defective components such as motors, bearings, belts, hydraulic systems. 
• Follow regulation safety, quality control and company practices.
• Maintain records of maintenance and equipment history.
• To complete training and review all SOP's on compliance.
