Milaha is seeking a skilled, experienced Senior Pipe fitter to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for a section's supervision, coordination, and leadership, in coordination with other sections, to support, follow up, report, and organize related work activities in the year.
  • Supervise piping works and equipment installation activities, and work towards improvement of team members, facility/tools/equipment
  • Make sure that you supervise your team members to ensure the highest efficiency and productivity, keeping quality and safety foremost in mind
  • Follow through with the assignments, arrange and coordinate the execution of activities or tasks in accordance with the guidelines (drawings specifications, procedures, and drawings)
  • Request the materials and services for pipe repair and fabrication. The job involves ordering, coordinating distribution, and installing the equipment.
  • Create calibration reports for the fabrication of piping equipment, in coordination with the QA/QC department
  • Ensure that work is carried out within budgeted hours by keeping track of manhours and bookings used by each team member
  • Plan and develop manpower requirements. Make sure that your manpower requirements are reported to and by the Foreman and are readily available
    Any deviation from the plan should be reported to the Foreman before the time about any risk or deviations, and any issues that are anticipated
  • Keep quality records up-to-date and ensure that the job history is readily available to any job that is attended by employees.
  • Prepare reports on job completion and then submit them to the client to be approved, and after which, send the reports to the Foreman
    Make sure that every team member has the right equipment, tools, specifications, drawings, and procedures needed to perform their job. Monitor rework trends and implement corrective/preventative actions
  • Make sure that all work is performed in a secure and high-quality way and in accordance with the division's standards for HSSE compliance, Quality Assurance procedures, Quality Manuals, and super yachts' requirements for repairs and overhauls to engines.
  • Assume any other duties or tasks assigned by Management.
