Wood seeks a skilled and experienced National Mechanical Technician to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional passionate about maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment used in environmental services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of their operations.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Perform the inspection, maintenance, and repair of all rotating and stationary mechanical equipment.
  • Responsible for testing equipment and helping the Plant Operator to maintain safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Performs condition monitoring work and results interpretation
  • Examines/replenishes accurate and up-to-date records
    Ensures the platform equipment installation, calibration, and testing are performed according to company specifications and any statutory regulations
  • Guarantees the availability of the necessary supply of spare parts, prepares and requisitions materials needed.
  • Keeps workshop and work areas in good condition of housekeeping
  • Submitted proposals and formulated modification requests as needed to enhance plant/equipment efficiency/safety operations
