Essential Job Duties

• Responsible for the engineering design, documentation, testing, and technical assistance with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components used on large mobile mining equipment in the field and in manufacturing. This includes responsibility for the design of hydraulic and pneumatic systems as part of new machine equipment design and communicating with hydraulic and pneumatic component suppliers. Additionally, responsibilities include selection of hydraulic and pneumatic components, including cylinders, valves, and pumps, as well as oversight of hydraulic and pneumatic components in testing. Manufacturer and assembler technical support and failure analysis of hydraulic and pneumatic components is also included.
