CONTROLS ENGINEER 2ND SHIFT

Opmobility is actively seeking a skilled and experienced CONTROLS ENGINEER 2ND SHIFT to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet operates at peak performance, contributing directly to the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of our operations. 

Responsibilities:

• Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment for production.
• Troubleshoot, program, or keep PLCs (SIEMENS), HMI systems, and other automation equipment.
• Assist in robotic programming and ensure the proper functioning of automated systems.
• Assist in the resolution of problems with regard to quality, safety, and production downtime.
• Optimize and modify equipment for better safety efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Keep precise records of maintenance activities and the performance of equipment.
• Assist maintenance and engineering teams to ensure that processes are standardized.
• Participate in the installation of new equipment as well as upgrades and continual enhancement initiatives (Industry 4.0).
• Check that you are in compliance with IATF; ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other standards applicable to you.
• Maintain and promote 5S standards and ensure a safe work environment, including the Lockout/Tagout procedure.
