Mechanical Design Engineer

French Oil Mill Machinery is actively seeking two skilled and experienced mechanical design engineers to join their dynamic team. This exciting job opportunity is perfect for professionals passionate about hydraulic jobs and industrial maintenance. The selected candidate will ensure the fleet operates at peak performance, directly contributing to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in daily operations. 

Responsibilities: 

• Create precise 3D models and detailed drawings for manufacturing along with bills of materials (BOMs) with SolidWorks.
• Work with teams that are cross-functional—manufacturing, sales, and customer service—throughout the entire lifecycle of the project.
• Conduct engineering analysis (stress load and stress as well as safety calculation) to ensure that the design is robust.
• Design your designs to optimize costs, efficiency, performance, and manufacturing.
• Test prototypes, support prototypes, and start field testing.
• Be sure to adhere to safety and quality standards.
• It is not uncommon to travel (up to 5 percent) for a supplier or customer visit to the site (typically between 1 and 7 days).
• Develop and design custom industrial machinery that is heavy-duty and robust that includes hydraulic presses as well as automated subsystems.
